Come with me on a leisurely cruise through Motherlode Country to the little hamlet of Volcano -- one of the early gold rush hotspots. Volcano is also the hometown of Harry B. Liversedge (1894-1951). He is a two-time track star at both the 1920 and 1924 Olympics and later Brigadier General best known as the leader of the regiment figured in the historic Iwo Jima flag raising.
We'll have lunch at one of Volcano's Inn/Restaurants, then mount our steads for the ride back home.
Meet at the dearlership at 9:00 AM. KSU at 9:30.
