For being such a short stretch of roadway, Las Vegas Boulevard is one of the most highly traveled passenger and pedestrian routes in the country.

The Stratosphere is currently the tallest freestanding observation tower west of the Mississippi River. A broad range of services and entertainment encourages you to stay here as you venture along the Las Vegas Strip. Everything from thrill rides on top of the 100-story building to a casino, an observation deck, restaurants, and a concierge service make staying at the Stratosphere a delightful experience. The hotel has introduced a show known as American Superstar, which provides fabulous entertainment with tribute artists who portray the musical abilities and likeness of famous musicians.

The Neon Museum & Boneyard has a collection of more than 200 historic neon signs. This unique collection has been used in numerous movies and television shows. The Las Vegas Boulevard Scenic Byway has formed an active partnership with the museum to restore and place 20 of these signs on Las Vegas Boulevard over the next few years.

One block to the east of the Fremont Street Experience, the Fremont East District features “retro” signs in the classic style of the old neon signs but that are made with modern LEED technology. Here you'll see how Las Vegas maintains its traditions in a modern, energy-saving manner. The seamless bridge between the traditional neon sign art and modern LEED sign art is clearly displayed in this high-energy entertainment district.
