The Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail is a multi-use bicycle and pedestrian facility. This trail runs parallel
to the Florida Keys Scenic Highway for its entire length. The vision is that of a 106-mile corridor extending
from Key West to Key Largo, serving communities as an alternative transportation route and recreational
greenway encouraging hiking, running, bicycling, fishing and kayaking. The trail offers a variety of events for
long distance bicycling enthusiasts.

Key West Botanical Gardens
The Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden is an 11-acre fragile hammock first founded in 1934. Go on a self-guided tour and see the lush courtyard with a waterfall, a wall of orchids, and turtles swimming below, the one-acre butterfly habitat with over 23 species discovered, and the lush canopy of tropical palms, trees, and a hidden pond. You may even see the resident, rare White Crowned Pigeon or Bald Eagle.
